Hi, I’m Tom

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I bring over five years of professional experience working with individuals both online and face-to-face. My approach is grounded in empathy, expertise, and a commitment to helping clients achieve meaningful change in their lives.

As well as working in private practice, I spent 3 years managing a counselling service, where I assessed and supported clients alongside training and mentoring new therapists .

My approach

Therapy isn’t only for times of crisis or when something is ‘wrong.’ It can be a place to talk openly and make sense of whatever’s weighing on you — whether that’s stress, frustration, or just feeling off-track. And if you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or feeling completely at a loss, this is a space where you don’t have to carry it alone.

Some situations you might not immediately think of as reasons to seek therapy:

  • Feeling stuck in routine or direction, even if life looks fine on the outside

  • Pressure, stress, or expectations you don’t usually talk about

  • Frustrations in friendships, family, or work

Whatever brings you here, counselling gives you the space to step back, understand what’s going on for you, and figure out a next step that feels right.

I specialise in helping individuals, offering a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.

Together, we will:

  • Collaboratively identify your personal goals and aspirations for therapy.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the values and experiences that shape your emotions and behaviour.

  • Work on actionable strategies to make meaningful, lasting changes in your life.
