Hi, I’m Tom
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I bring over five years of professional experience working with individuals both online and face-to-face. My approach is grounded in empathy, expertise, and a commitment to helping clients achieve meaningful change in their lives.
As well as working in private practice, I spent 3 years managing a counselling service, where I assessed and supported clients alongside training and mentoring new therapists .
My approach
Therapy isn’t only for times of crisis or when something is ‘wrong.’ It can be a place to talk openly and make sense of whatever’s weighing on you — whether that’s stress, frustration, or just feeling off-track. And if you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or feeling completely at a loss, this is a space where you don’t have to carry it alone.
Some situations you might not immediately think of as reasons to seek therapy:
Feeling stuck in routine or direction, even if life looks fine on the outside
Pressure, stress, or expectations you don’t usually talk about
Frustrations in friendships, family, or work
Whatever brings you here, counselling gives you the space to step back, understand what’s going on for you, and figure out a next step that feels right.
I specialise in helping individuals, offering a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.
Together, we will:
Collaboratively identify your personal goals and aspirations for therapy.
Gain a deeper understanding of the values and experiences that shape your emotions and behaviour.
Work on actionable strategies to make meaningful, lasting changes in your life.
